Terms of Service

CarePanda is software that home daycares (“Providers”) use to publish a storefront, receive applications, keep a daily journal and health and safety records, and send invoices, and that families (“Parents”) use to find Providers and communicate with them. Providers may operate independently or as part of an agency-affiliated network (an “Agency”).

Little Larks is not a childcare provider, childcare agency or employer. We do not provide childcare, and we are not a party to any arrangement between a Parent, a Provider and any Agency.

Providers and Agencies listed on CarePanda are independent businesses. Little Larks:

• does not employ Providers or their staff, and does not supervise their care;
• does not vet, screen, inspect, background-check or verify Providers, their licensing status, licence numbers, capacity, premises or any other information they publish;
• does not guarantee or endorse the quality, safety, legality or suitability of any Provider or their services.

Licensing status and other details on a storefront are self-reported by the Provider. Parents are solely responsible for their own due diligence — including visiting the Provider, checking references, and confirming licensing with their state or provincial authority — before arranging care.

An Agency can use CarePanda to route applications to its affiliated Providers and to oversee them. When a Provider is affiliated with an Agency, applications to that Provider may first go to the Agency, and the Agency's authorised administrators get read-only access to that Provider's applications, messages, daily journals and health and safety records for oversight.

The relationship between an Agency and its Providers is governed by their own agreements. Each Agency is responsible for its administrators and for how it uses the information it can see. Little Larks does not supervise Agencies.

• You must be at least the age of majority where you live and give accurate information.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Providers confirm they are authorised to operate their daycare and that what they publish is accurate.

The daily journal, check-in, infant safe-sleep timer, vaccination records, incident reports and medication logs are record-keeping aids. They do not replace a Provider's duty of care, supervision, or compliance with the safe-sleep and ratio rules that apply to them. Providers remain fully responsible for the children in their care.

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give Little Larks a licence to host and display it to operate CarePanda. Providers must not upload photos of children to their storefront and must have the rights to everything they publish.

Reviews of a Provider must be honest and based on real experience. Don't use CarePanda to post anything unlawful, misleading, or that infringes anyone's rights.

Providers choose a plan based on capacity; Agency pricing is agreed separately. Paid plans may start with a free trial and renew monthly until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. Payments between Parents and Providers are between them; Little Larks is not responsible for them.

CarePanda is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Larks disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any loss or harm arising from the care provided by any Provider, the conduct of any Agency, any interaction between users, or your use of CarePanda.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which Little Larks, Inc. is registered, unless your local law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here and, for material changes, let you know by email or in the app.
